My, my, my.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little. -George Carlin-

I can't figure out why, but I have noticed that good news and bad news seem to follow closely on each others heels.
For example, we talked to my father-in-laws doctor yesterday, we found out that they had managed to rule out several things, but that they still hadn't quite figured out what was wrong with him. We also found out that, while he will likely get out of the hospital eventually (no real time lines for that yet, though), he won't likely be going home. We are working on finding a place for both my mother and father-in-law together, which is proving to be a difficult task.
I am sure if you look at your own life you would also notice similar patterns. I'm not saying it's a good or a bad thing, and I'm not trying to make some sort of cosmic conspiracy theory out of it, but it's something that I'm going to pay more attention to in the future to see if it holds true on a long term basis, or if I'm just being overly sensitive as a result of recent stresses.
Anyway, I just wanted to put out that rambling thought there.

Pax, all.
