Looking through the various job postings for the Sault is often an interesting exercise. I am always keeping an eye open for that elusive, perfect opportunity, that we all know is near impossible to find, but oh so satisfying when you do. Obviously, I'm still hunting, but perseverance will eventually pay off (at least I hope it will). I'm a patient individual, and I know there are a lot of people who spend a lifetime looking for the perfect job, and never find it, but I also know that I won't find it if I don't keep my eyes open.
There are always a variety of interesting postings amongst the boards. The range of openings available always make for interesting reading. I sometimes try to picture myself working in some of the posted jobs as a mental exercise, and to try to get an appreciation for other peoples jobs. Once in a while I get a chance to talk to people in these positions, and generally find that what I imagined the job to be is woefully off the mark. It's still worth the effort though.
At some point, I have faith that I'll find what I'm looking for. I may even decide to invent my own opportunity at some point, who knows. I suspect things will unfold for me the way they are meant to unfold, and will do so in their own good time.
